Our History
Maison d’Or & d’Ossau was born of a passionate desire to magnify ancestral cheese-making “savoir-faire” by creating a subtle synergy between innovation and tradition.
The innovative technique of ripening cheese in the center offers extraordinary flavors and powerful aromas. The accompanying sweet and savory creations sit proudly in the heart of the cheese to delight all our senses.
By giving each piece of cheese your own unique stamp, you pay tribute to the men and women who work every day to ensure the delicate transformation of milk into cheese. Maison Cassandrine, the oldest jam house in the Pyrenees
Halfway between the Hautes-Pyrénées and Pyrénées-Atlantiques regions, the oldest jam factory in the Pyrenees, founded in 1980, perpetuates an ancestral tradition: the traditional manufacture of jams. At the helm are Marc and Benoit, gourmets who share our passion for exceptional flavors and aromas.
It’s was natural that our two “Maison” have joined forces to offer you a range of jam flavors that harmoniously combine with our cheese creations.
Restaurant le Callizo
The Michelin-starred CALLIZO restaurant, located in Ainsa (Spain) at the foot of the Pyrenean mountain range, has entrusted us with the customization of its tasting cheeses.
La Maison d’Or & d’Ossau is proud to fly the emotional gastronomy of Aragonese chefs Josè Ramàn Aso Cajal and Josetxo Souto.

At the gourmet restaurant, La Grand’ Vigne, 2 Michelin stars, nestled in the heart of the Palace “Les Sources de Caudalie” (Bordeaux), Chef Masse offers a tasting of our personalized tommettes stamped with La Grappe de grape, a symbol so dear to the founders . Thanks to Louis Morin, Restaurant Director, for the trust he has placed in us. In its delicatessen “Rouge”, you can find our bags and gift boxes.
